Great ending to a great month

Rock climbing (like real legit rocks in the beautiful Washington forest) & prayer night with our church in the same day...PLUS a "walk & talk" with Mr. Fleece...what could make for a better 24 hours? Oh wait..."Skinny Love" by Bon Iver just came on. Now it's truly perfect : )

Look for honeymoon posts and pictures of our place within the next 2 weeks.

Glad you're reading

Sneak Peek of Honeymoon pictures

Tried to find the most random pics we took...

That don't really give you any insight into what we did...

Other than Mr. Fleece has some mad photography skills

Weekend Wanderings

First REAL weekend in Seattle....aka not on our Seattle honeymoon.

Friday:
-Dark Knight Rises at the IMAX with our lovely neighbors...Anne Hathaway has come a long way from Mia Thermopolis.
-Party for the Olympics Opening Ceremonies. Got pie, new friends, & a ridiculous Industrial Revolution/parachuting Queen/pop culture show all in one night.

Saturday:
-Helped a girl from our church move into a new house within our neighborhood.
-Attended the Annual Torchlight Parade in downtown Seattle to celebrate Seafair. I missed The Woodland's 4th of July parade this year, & this adequately made up for it!

Sunday:
-10:00 church
-Bed Bath & Beyond splurge (I'm working on those thank you notes!)
-Duplex relaxation

Life is good and full & I'm glad it doesn't just stop after getting married.

Meet "Mr. Fleece"

Time for Introductions

Somehow, lacking a pinterest account, a twitter account, and yes, even a smart phone, I manage to be somewhat trendy in this modern techno-savvy culture. While I'm not always up-to-date with the latest meme or #YOLO usage, I do receive an ocassional compliment on my wardrobe & party planning abilities. I can adapt to the necessary DIY project or cooking recipe if need be, but thrifty finds & themed parties are my nitch.

To truly validate my trendy-ness, I'm starting the typical "I-just-got-married-and-moved-across-the-country" blog. I mean I have to have someplace to display all my wedding & house decor photos, right?

Enjoy my upcoming adventures!
