March was full of adult All-American pastimes. Reading on the couch, hitting the gym, stopping by the library, completing chores, shopping at Goodwill, cooking casseroles, walking the dog, & chatting in coffee shops. By no means, are these activities out of the ordinary - they are very much in the ordinary. And I'm realizing that's okay with me. I'm learning to love the slow, mellow, chill, relax, recharge weekend vibe.
WATCHING:
The next two movies I want to see probably couldn't be more different from one another. The first won best picture & tells the true story of a team of Boston Globe uncovering the facts of clergy child abuse & the second is a fun lighthearted animated film about a rabbit who joins the police force in mammal metropolis. My challenge is to find out what they have in common ; )
EATING:
I recently celebrated a friend's 30th birthday at Bourbon & Bones. This was easily the best BBQ I'd had since leaving Texas. The Kentucky mule was delicious too : )
READING:
I just finished the well known classic, "Pride & Prejudice"by Jane Austen. I hadn't read it since 10th grade English & decided it was time. Loved it more than the first time round & am compelled to read her other works.
LISTENING:
Mr. Fleece & I saw Jose Gonzalez in concert & think it's safe to say he is a musical genius. His voice is amazing & the sounds that come from his single guitar incredible! Loved hearing him play "Heartbeats" in person.
