With four backpacks, three suitcases, two car seats, one canvas bag, and a double stroller in tow, we flew cross-country to Connecticut, home of Mimi and Papa! NLW is a seasoned traveler and loved every leg of our journey, especially the airport train rides between terminals. EDW and CCW are still learning the ropes, but did better than expected and surprisingly, the jetlag was a non-issue. An added bonus...a long travel day now makes walking around the block as a family of five + dog (still a rare sight) seem like no big deal!
Our East Coast "summer camp" was filled to the brim with fun outings (and a dash of sickness to keep us on our toes). There was even a blow-up bounce house one day! One of the biggest highlights was meeting the newest addition to the family, our little nephew.
