Life Wright Now | September 2022

September was a transitional month for us in that we got back from our 10-day trip to the East Coast, recovered from sickness, adjusted to a new/temporary nanny, and celebrated the long-awaited opening of the West Seattle Bridge. We made the most of Seattle's glorious late summer temps with lots of beach visits and alfresco dining.

Other highlights:
- Twins first visit to The Woodland Park Zoo
- Multiple visits to The Seattle Children's Museum (before our membership expired)
- Bike rides and stroller walks to see the neighborhood chickens
- Family excursion to Costco
- Hosting an "Open Bridge, Open House, Open Bar party"!!

Watching | This interview of Ellie Kemper
One of my guilty pleasures is watching celebrity interviews...I stumbled across this one of Ellie Kemper and it cracked me up multiple times. She's so wonderfully upbeat, playful, and earnest!

Eating | Dark Chocolate Keto Nuggets
Since the West Seattle Bridge reopened, Costco is a mere seven minute drive from our house! We went as a family and I added this chocolate treat to our cart. Completely delicious!

Reading | Heating & Cooling
My favorite read this month was a memoir (no surprise there!) with the unique structure of 52 "micro-memoirs", essentially bite-sized commentary on life. Her snippets were poetic, observational, and eclectic. Overall, a fast-paced palette cleanser you can easily squeeze in one sitting for when you're between reads and unsure what to pick up next.

Listening | "Where I'm Going" by The Wild Reeds
A female voices folksy song featuring harmonica and three-part harmony :)

October celebrations ahead,
