February Feature: Photographer | Cassie Marino

It's difficult not to keep scrolling through the photos that Cassie Marino takes. The exposure & light combined with fun expressions in unique settings make for beautiful photos. She specializes in portraits, engagements & weddings.Though I don't know her super well, I certainly admire this gal from afar. Her vibrant, friendly, and generous spirit are hard to miss.

February Feature: Artist | Charley Harper

Charley Harper's artwork has made a comeback in recent years. You can see his iconic animals on puzzles, postcards, umbrellas, calendars etc. His bright colors, geometric lines, & kalediscope designs make for fun and playful scenes. My family was on a Charley Harper kick for a while & I don't think I ever got off : )

Wishing I could draw,

February Feature: Graphic Designer | Peter Duong

My friend Peter is much trendier than I. He is always posting about a concert or house show & is regularly up for a spontaneous adventure. His creative spirit is seen in his design work as well. I particularly like his illustrations. I'd buy that deck of playing cards : )

This photo sums up Peter. Cool without every trying.

February Feature: Photographer | Whitney McGuire

I have many friends who not only dabble but thrive in photography. Whitney McGuire is no exception. This mother of two is radiant, fun, & certainly talented behind a camera. She specializes in families with littles & recently launched a schmancy website.
She's building her client base in Seattle, so take a peek!

She's a super cool mom. So even if you don't want your photos taken, she can teach you how to look effortless gorg while disciplining your children. That's priceless if you ask me.

February Feature: Fashion Designer | Vested Gentress

Like last year, for the month of February I'm going to feature artists. Some I know personally, others I simply admire from afar, all I like : )

Starting with a vintage classic, The Vested Gentress is a whimsical & colorful line of women's clothing. Best known for their bright & playful prints, these A-line dresses & skirts make a bold statement. The perfect mix of gaudy & cheery, it'd be hard to go unnoticed in these iconic designs:
The original artist, Bud, must have loved equestrianism, aquatics, & animals in general.
Asparagus. Because, why not?
I wore this yellow Vested Gentress shift dress featuring turquoise turtles
for a Hairspray themed party in college!
Feeling sunny,
