Texas, home of Mirma and Poppa, welcomed us with open arms this December. It was great to be back in my childhood house, complete with my childhood toys :) We had a fantastic visit filled with lots of fun and special memories. It was so nice to lounge around and be a little lazy!
Highlights:
- Spending time with my sister, best friend, and friend from middle school
- Walking the ditch
- Searching for gems in the "abandoned mine"
- Poppa playing his guitar and trombone!
- Baking sugar cookies and pumpkin pie
- Drinking hot cocoa after coming in from the cold
- Enjoying the fire pit and first-time s'mores
- Introducing NLW to The Grinch, Charlie Brown's Christmas, and Wishbone
- Reading our Christmas Eve stories together and continuing the tradition of pajamas
