This month I went on three separate day adventures to new parts of the city I had yet to truly explore. I was reminded that if I can't find something to do in Seattle I'm just plain craze.
Things they have in common? South of Queen Anne. Funky sites. Great companions.
1. Pioneer Square with Mr. Fleece
We biked through the city down to Pioneer Square to grab lunch, walk around, browse shops, & enjoy the sunshine. Highlights: lunch at Delicatus & posing with miniature Bertha at Milepost 31 (my company helped with this exhibit!).
2. Georgetown with Lilyanna
We ventured down south & poked around a bunch of vintage shops. Highlights: Not letting the rain stop us from exploring, the hipster vibe (reminded me of South Congress in Austin,TX) & the Lil' Brat (reuben sandwich) from Smarty Pants.
3. West Seattle with Ebony
On President's Day I took puppy & wandered around West Seattle leaving a bread crumbs trail with the #adventureswithebs hashtag. It was so fun to get out & about on a sunny day & see more than just Alki Beach. Highlights: stumbling upon the random log house museum (closed for the day) & Schmitz Park (a little green oasis in the city) + the gorgeous views.
Golly, I love Seattle.
