Named after her grandmothers, little Inga Marcelle is due to arrive in August.
In honor of the family lineage - we displayed a little family tree with photos & family heirlooms (including a vintage rattle!!). We also filled out these sweet wishes for baby Inga.
We played the "how many baby socks can you fold in 20 seconds" game & watched L open "adorable" & "precious" gifts...we played the clothespin game where you could steal someone's clothespin if you heard them say the word "cute." Pretty impossible not to say it with all the little girl clothes she received.
Instead of bringing cards, we all brought books for Inga, because -
"Although cards are nice,
they're read but once or twice.
A book is a treasure
that lasts forever.
So instead of a card to be put aside,
please give a book with your name & wishes inside.
I found this adorable babylit series that turns classic literature into a primer for counting, colors, & more. Pretty much perfect.
It was such a fun day in the sun, celebrating new life, & supporting this growing family!

Rooftop parties are always fun dear and I am glad to see how beautifully you planned it. The baby shower party last time I planned was at indoor New York venues and it was fun too but for my next time I also want to go for a rooftop party.
