Heart-Warming & Happy | Valentine's Day 2024

Valentine's Day is a welcomed holiday in our household -- another special day with treats and things to look forward to? That's what childhood is all about :) Here are the things that made February 14 extra sweet for our family this year:

- NLW wrote all his classmates names and signed every card <3
- NLW's class party & our just-the-two-of-us zoo visit
- Our nanny making heart-shaped pancakes for CCW and EDW 
- Cards from grandparents
- Heart-shaped pizza for dinner (kept it easy this year and ordered one from Mioposto)

- Dessert at Menchie's
- Chalkboard + pajamas photoshoot!

We replaced chocolates and roses with flashlights and scissors (both new gifts to the kids). Watching their utter delight in playing "spooky" in the dark or creating confetti all over our craft area has reminded me that sometimes the best kind of celebrating comes from simple things.
