Where is my off switch?

Mr. Fleece & I had another great weekend here in the Emerald City. Forewarning, it was pretty completely jam packed, so put your reading glasses on. Here's the recap starting with date night:

THURSDAY:
Made dinner at home & then ventured out to explore the R.E.I. flagship store. Let's just say my Christmas list has officially begun....
Massive & beautiful...complete with a rock climbing wall.

After that, we drove over to the brand new park and went for an evening stroll. It's on Lake Union & is walking distance from our home.

Although there are geese poop droplets EVERYWHERE, we are sure to be back.

FRIDAY: WE. WENT. ROLLERBLADING!! I know, I know, some of you haven't been rollerblading since you were about 9 years old...but it's absolutely one of our favorite activities to do together.

We skated through Olympic Sculpture Park that looks over Elliott Bay

SATURDAY:My day was full of delectable food. We started off by meeting a couple for breakfast at Portage Bay, where our meal came with a one time trip to "the berry bar." Ohmygah those raspberries were divine. I finished my day at a dinner & desserts night with ladies from church.

Smushed in the middle of our day, we saw an awesome performance by The Blue Angels!

So. Many. Games.
SUNDAY:  Mr. Fleece introduced me to Blue Highway Games (a store that lets you play & try out board games)...thereby winning over my heart & soul.

And to completely round off the weekend we attended a "Russian BBQ" block party that our neighbors hosted (they are from Russia). How often do you get to say that? It was fun getting to hang out with our neighbors and try new foods.

I told you there would be upcoming adventures....I just didn't realize there would be 8 of them in 1 weekend.
